AnteriorLocated in or towards the front.
 
Apical Relating to the Apex, i.e. the root of a mature tooth or similar area of an immature tooth before root formation.

Buccal Pertaining to or towards the check
 
Buccal MucosaThe mucous membrane of the inside of the cheek

HookAn overgrowth caused by abnormal wear to anterior or posterior cheek teeth due to malocclusion.
 
HyperplasiaReduced or inadequate tissue formation.
 
InfundibulumCup like enamel infolding found singular in the centre of incisors and plural (Infundibulae) in upper cheek teeth.
 
Ironical FistulaAn opening between the oral & nasal cavities, most commonly as a result of extraction or abscess.
 
LateralOpposite of medial, away from the midline.
 
Lateral ExcursionLateral movement of the mandible relative to the maxilla.
 
LingualReferring to the tongue or in the direction of the tongue
 
MalocclusionIrregular contact of opposing teeth.
 
MandibleThe lower jaw.

OssificationOssification is the process of bone formation, in which connective tissues, such as cartilage are turned to bone or bone-like tissue.
 
Periodontal"Around or near the teeth" usually refers to tissues that surround the neck and root of a tooth.
 
PeriodontitisInflammation of tissue surrounding a tooth or of periodontal ligaments (A painful condition, often resulting in poor mastication, quidding and finally severe weight loss)
